Most Powerful Women in the World

Forbes list of Most Powerful Women in the World:

Highlights:
- Dominated by Amricans (66 of 100).
- Condolezza Rice is number 1
- Hilary Clinton is No. 26
- Two Africans on the list
- Our very own Wangari Maathai #68.
- Mozambique's prime minister Luisa Diogo #96

Our glorious first lady (or any African first lady for that matter) is missing from the list. Contrast this with the view from The Economist (subscritption needed)

The only powerful first lady or former first lady i can recommend who can either make to that list is only Graca Machel Mandela forget about the rest and may be the one who could have lived to be there none other than Rebecca Garang... those are the only pillars in Africa the rest... makaratasi.....

I dunno about Graca but I'm still bitter for her, marrying Mandela:-) but she deserves kudos on her work
